The LaGrange Police Department conducted a drug investigation on December 20 and applied for a search warrant for a residence in the 200 block of East Spring Street in LaGrange.
The search warrant was granted through the LaGrange Superior Court.
Officers with the police department and the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department reported recovered a white powdery substance believed to be methamphetamine inside the residence. Officers also reported several prescription pills located without the proper labeled prescription bottles as well as several paraphernalia items used to ingest both marijuana and methamphetamine inside the residence.
Two men were arrested as a result of the search:
Aron Reade, 48, LaGrange, was arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Legend Drug, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
Genoa Sigerfoos, 48, Howe, was arrested on preliminary charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession and Visiting a Common Nuisance.
The investigation is still ongoing, according to the LaGrange Police Department.
