On Jan. 1, an officer from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the vicinity of US 20 and CR 250W. in LaGrange County.
According to the police report, there were two occupants in the vehicle, Caleb McCollough, 22, of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Michal Ley, 22, of Auburn, Ind. The officer requested the assistance from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department K9 Unit and the police dog alerted to the odor of narcotics in the vehicle.
Upon further investigation, McCollough and Ley were arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Hashish Oil, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. They were taken to the LaGrange County Jail.
