Trending values sent to DLGF last week

LaGrange County Assessor Pat Monroe told county council members Monday morning that LaGrange County’s trending values were sent to the Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF) last week.

The values were due to DLGF May 1.

After the values have been certified by DLGF, it should be only a few days, according to Monroe, before values can be rolled to the county auditor. After the auditor’s office has deducted the exemptions and calculated net assessed values, the county’s financial advisor will be able to determine the amount of tax revenue that will be available for use in setting the 2013 budget.
