Traffic stop leads to arrests

An officer from the LaGrange Police Department made a traffic stop on a 1996 Dodge Dakota for a traffic infraction on US 20 east of LaGrange shortly before 9 p.m. on November 6.

    According to the police report, a search of the vehicle during investigation revealed methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and hypodermic needles.

    There were two occupants in the vehicle. Arielle Aldrich, 24, of LaGrange was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and hypodermic needles.  Mitchell Hephner, 23, also of LaGrange, was arrested on a preliminary charge of driving while suspended prior.

    The LaGrange Police Department was assisted by the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana DNR.
