Titus J. Speicher Jr., 84, LaGrange, died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Miller’s Merry Manor of LaGrange.
He was born March 26, 1930, in Elkhart, Ind., to Titus T. and Vera E. (Donat) Speicher.
He attended Seminary in Eveston, Ill., at UMC, and had ministered in Valentine, Ind., for 20 years. He owned and operated LaGrange Monuments Works in LaGrange until his illness. He was a life member of K of P Lodge in LaGrange.
He was married April 30, 1947, in Topeka, to Martha E. Shafer. She preceded him in death on July 26, 2012.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Wesley and Shari Speicher, LaGrange, and Tim and Kim Speicher, LaGrange; three daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Joseph Westrom, Kokomo, Ind., Karen and Ray Springer, LaGrange, and Janie and Sanford Schrock, Millersburg, Ind.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Diana Speicher, LaGrange, and Roger and Mary Speicher, LaGrange; and three sisters and one brother-in-law, Yvonne Parks, Sturgis, Mich., June Manor, LaGrange, and Karol and Dave Endres, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Mildred Speicher.
Visitation is 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday, September 4, at Carney-Frost Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 4, at Carney-Frost Funeral Home in LaGrange with Pastor Mike Cain officiating.
Burial will be in Shore Cemetery, Shipshewana.
