Suspicious person call leads to meth arrest

On Jan. 19, deputies from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department were called to a residence on CR 200S for a suspicious person.     

According to the police report, the caller identified herself as Nicole Hochstetler, 25, of CR 200S, and stated “she was confused because she had smoked meth recently.”    

Officers went to Hochstetler’s residence and reportedly found methamphetamine in plain view. Hochstetler was taken into custody and transported to the LaGrange County Jail on preliminary charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Paraphernalia.
