Suspected K2/Spice being tested after traffic stop


On April 9, a deputy from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department made a traffic stop on a Dodge pickup at SR 9 and SR 120.

According to the police report, LaGrange City Police Dog Tyson gave a positive alert on the vehicle after officers detected an odor associated with burnt marijuana coming from within the vehicle. Material believed to be K2/Spice was located in the vehicle and has been sent to a lab for official testing.

Charges of possession and maintaining a common nuisance against the driver are pending upon test results.
