Susie J. Wengerd, 64, LaGrange, died Monday, June 17, 2013, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.
She was born April 5, 1949, in LaGrange County, to Jonas and Edna (Troyer) Weaver.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She was married November 12, 1970, in LaGrange, to David J. Wengerd. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Mose, Harley and Daniel Wengerd, all of LaGrange; three daughters and one son-in-law, Edna and Katie Wengerd, both of LaGrange, and Lydia and Daniel Bontrager, LaGrange; five sisters and four brothers-in-law, Ella and Ervin Yoder, LaGrange, Helen and Ray Hochstetler, Topeka, Esther and Howard Miller, Ligonier, Ind., Edna Bontrager, LaGrange, and Lydia and Harvey Bontrager, Goshen; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Mary Weaver, Topeka, and Harley and Ella Weaver, Dalton, Wisc.; two brothers-in-law, Daniel Jacobs and Elva (Martha) Miller, both of Ligonier, Ind.; and a sister-in-law, Mary Weaver, Shipshewana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Anna Jacobs and Elsie Miller, one brother, Calvin Weaver, and a brother-in-law, Lester Bontrager.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 20, at the Wayne Miller residence, 2080S 300E in LaGrange, with Bishop Levi Raber and home ministers officiating.
Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery, rural LaGrange.
