On June 18, deputies from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call regarding a possible suicidal subject at a residence on CR 700S.
During investigation into the incident, officers were given consent to search the residence and located paraphernalia associated with the consumption of synthetic cannabis as well as a large quantity of evidence indicating the consumption of synthetic cannabis.
The subject was transported to Parkview LaGrange Hospital for treatment and held for a 72-hour evaluation. According to the police report, charges are expected to be filed against the subject for Possession of Paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, a Class D felony.
