Congressman Marlin Stutzman said that it was good to be back home in LaGrange County at Wednesday’s LaGrange County Chamber meeting where he was the guest speaker. Stutzman is pictured above with Chamber Executive Beth Sherman. Stutzman said that businesses are fearful of the “clout” displayed by government agencies and bureaucrats and that this needs to change before business is ready to take more risks. He also noted that the federal budget calls for spending some $3.7 trillion annually with income of only $2.7 trillion. “We must slow down the spending to control the federal debt, which is now at $16.7 trillion,” he said.
