Stutzman running for reelection

U.S. Rep. Marlin Stutzman, R-IN, announced last week that he has filed to run for reelection to the 3rd District Congressional seat.

Stutzman was elected to Congress in the 2010 Election to take the seat vacated by Mark Souder, who had resigned earlier that fall.Stutzman currently serves as a Deputy Whip for the Republican House Caucus and is a member on the House Committees on Agriculture, Budget and Veteran’s Affairs.

Stutzman noted that serving on those committees “has provided me with an opportunity to take on firsthand our nation’s growing debt problem, fight for real and meaningful agriculture reform, and stand strong for our veterans, to whom we owe so much for their willingness to defend our nation.”
