Sturgis Gymnasts defeat Lakeland

 Sturgis scored a 101.0-94.5 varsity gymnastics victory over host Lakeland Wednesday evening.

Sheyenne Melchi claimed three of the four blue ribbons earned by the Lady Trojans. Melchi won the uneven bars (8.45), the balance beam (9.25) and the all-around (34.50).

Alea Penner netted the other Sturgis first in the floor exercise (8.95).

Chloe Sturdivant grabbed the one Lakeland blue ribbon in the vault (8.70). She also took second in the floor exercise (8.55).
