State police seeking public’s help identifying armed robbery suspect

The Indiana State Police from the Toll Road Post is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on April 24 at the Mobile Service gas station travel plaza, located near the 125.8 mile marker on the eastbound side, and is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

According to Detective Michael Robinson, at approximately midnight on April 24, an unknown white male wearing a red Indiana University hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants entered the gas station. He displayed a handgun and ordered the clerk to give him money from the cash registers.

The suspect then exited the station with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene in a dark-colored passenger car. No one was injured during the robbery.
