Stanley A. "Chip" Krugh, 84, Shipshewana, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at Life Care Center of LaGrange.
He was born September 26, 1929, in LaGrange County, to Emmett R. and Grayce (Malone) Krugh.
Living all his life in LaGrange County, he was a farmer and owned and operated Stanley's Garage. Before his retirement he passed his body shop knowledge and ownership on to Randy Frain and family. He was a member of the LaGrange United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one sister, Joyce Greenawalt, LaGrange; one brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Lillian Krugh, Shipshewana; a sister-in-law, Mary Krugh, Shipshewana; six nieces, Ramona Randolph, Salt Lake City, Utah, Roxanne Randolph, Lander, Wyo., Rhonda (Jeff) Locker, Pavillion, Wyo., Lynette Krugh, Shipshewana, Kelli (Stan) Flory, Jones, Mich., and Dianna (Steve) Cisco, Byron Center, Mich.; four nephews, Jeff (Cheryl) Greenawalt, Ft. Wayne, Ind., Reed (Mary) Randolph, Sperry, Iowa, Randy Greenawalt, Churubusco, Ind., and Greg Greenawalt, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Agnes Randolph, and one brother, E. Terry Krugh.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, October 11, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 12, at Frurip-May Funeral Home in LaGrange with Reverend Chris Danielson officiating.
Burial will be at a later date in Riverside Cemetery, Howe.
