SR 9 Width Restriction north of LaGrange announced

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that SR 9 lanes in both directions, on the approaches to CR 300N, north of the town of LaGrange, will have a width restriction of 10 feet. The restriction began on Saturday, November 16.

The width restriction, which is under permit by INDOT, is due to construction of a commercial driveway just south of CR 300N, on the southeast corner of the intersection. The builder will be constructing a passing blister on the roadway, in addition to the business entrance. Motorists should be aware of traffic controls, including signage and barrels, while the work is in progress. The restriction is scheduled to be complete by end of December, weather permitting.

INDOT reminds drivers to use caution and consider worker safety when driving through a construction zone.
