Semi driver arrested for possession of synthetic drug

At approximately 5 a.m. on December 10, a traffic stop on a semi tractor-trailer was made by the LaGrange Police Department on Central Ave. at Townline Rd.

    According to the police report, the semi’s driver gave permission for the truck to be searched. During the search, approximately 28.5 grams of synthetic drug along with drug paraphernalia was allegedly found inside the semi’s cab.

    The driver, Timothy Bayes, 32, of Toledo, Ohio was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of synthetic drug and paraphernalia.

    Assisting the LaGrange Police Department was the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department.
