Ruby Sizemore

Ruby J. Sizemore, 74, LaGrange, died Monday, June 24, 2013, at Miller's Merry Manor of LaGrange.

    She was born October 6, 1938, in Knott County, Ky., to Irvin and Elsie (Napier) Coburn.

    Moving from Kentucky to this area at the age of three, she was an accounts secretary for Godfrey Marina in Elkhart. She was a member of the Stroh United Baptist Church.

    She was married in 1956 in Stroh to William “Bill” Sizemore. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2010.

    Surviving are two daughters, Pamela Sizemore, LaGrange, and Tammy Rasler, Angola; four sons, Brian Sizemore, Ontario, Brad (Helen) Sizemore, Rome City, Bart Sizemore, LaGrange, and Bruce Sizemore, LaGrange; one stepson, Ed (Veda) Sawyer, LaGrange; 10 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mabel “Tommy” Wicker, South Carolina.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Goldie Minton and Lois Tillman, and three brothers, Carl Coburn, Luther Coburn, and Jim Coburn.

    Funeral services were held Thursday, June 27, at Liberty Free Will Baptist Church in Wolcottville with Pastor Rick Davis, Pastor Randolph Wicker, and Pastor David Bolen officiating.

    Burial is in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
