Roy S. Longfellow, 72, Bronson, Mich., died Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Community Health Center of Branch County in Coldwater, Mich.
He was born June 18, 1940, in Wyondotte, Mich., to Howard and Ester Longfellow.
He was a truck driver and owned Jamestown Truck Repair wrecker service in Fremont, Ind., retiring in 1983. He was a member of the Fremont Train Club and the Midwest Tractor Association.
He married Mary (Lou) Webb. She survives in Bronson, Mich.
Also surviving are one son, Brett A. Longfellow, Howe; three daughters and sons-in-law, Candance M. and Monte Abbs, Sturgis, Mich., Christine K. and Rodney Blair, Howe, and Catherine J. and Thomas Fudge, Sturgis, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Miller, Mishawaka, Ind., and Sharon Smith, Columbus, Ohio; and the mother of his children, Carolyn Ann (Hostetler) Longfellow.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gene Longfellow.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
