Rosemary Ann Schottenloher, 89, formally of Sturgis, Mich., died Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Fairview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Centreville, Mich.
She was born January 15, 1923, in Kalamazoo, Mich., to Thomas and Eva (Schock) Pulliam.
She was raised on a small farm near Howe and graduated from Brighton High School, where she was secretary of her class. She was a resident of Sturgis, Mich., most of her life and retired from the Kirsch Company with over 35 years of employment. She studied piano under numerous leading teachers during her lifetime and taught many, many students in her home and at the Keyboard Center in Sturgis, Mich.
Surviving are two sons, Kaylor E. (Patricia) Shemberger, Chandler, Ariz., and Brent (Nelda) Shemberger, Pelham, Ala.; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 29, at Pretty Prairie Cemetery in Howe, with Reverend Jean Ness officiating.
Hackman Family Funeral Home Rosenberg Chapel in Sturgis, Mich., is in charge of arrangements.
