Roger L. Miller, 61, Big Turkey Lake, LaGrange, died Saturday, March 24, 2012, at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis.
He was born August 16, 1950, in Ft. Wayne, to Paul and Mary (Galloway) Miller.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and worked at Audio Visual Specialist in Ft. Wayne from 1970-1976. He was corporate vice president from 1976-1993 at B & J Video Systems in Ft. Wayne. He last worked for Markey’s Audio Visual in Ft. Wayne as corporate service manager from 1993-2003. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Kendallville. He was also active in the Boy Scouts, 4-H, and Rural Youth.
He was married July 15, 1972 to Carol M. Shirk. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Krystal and Bryan Gresock, Pittsboro; one son, Paul G. Miller, Hudson; one grandson, Brayden Gresock; a granddaughter to be born in April, Aubrey Lynn Gresock; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry and Bev Miller, Ft. Wayne, and Dennis and Julie Miller, Warsaw; and one sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and David Allen, Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation is 2-8 p.m. Thursday, March 29, at Young Family Funeral Home Kendallville Chapel and 10-11 a.m. Friday, March 30, at St. John Lutheran Church Worship Center in Kendallville.
A Celebration of Life service will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 30, at St. John Lutheran Church Worship Center in Kendallville with Reverend Paul B. Griebel, Reverend Dr. Robert Shriner, and Reverend Dr. Brad Miller officiating.
Burial will be in Wright Cemetery near Stroh.
