Robert Schrock, 62, Sturgis, Mich., died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at his residence.
He was born January 13, 1950, in Sturgis, Mich., to Ora D. and F. Berneice (Troyer) Schrock.
He was a 1968 graduate of Burr Oak High School. He and his wife farmed and lived in Burr Oak until 22 years ago when they moved to the Sturgis area. He was employed in the transportation industry, driving for many different companies and in several types of trucks. He was a member of Locust Grove Mennonite Church, where he was involved with the worship team.
He was married January 26, 1969, at Locust Grove Mennonite Church, to Donna L. Yoder. She survives.
Also surviving are two children, Kenneth (Eiko) Schrock, Addison, Ill., and Shelly (Paul) Kindig, Burr Oak, Mich.; two granddaughters, Brittany and Paige Kindig; two sisters, Phyllis (Steve) Hooley-Hughes and Martha (Ed) Wickey, both of Burr Oak, Mich.; one brother, Lloyd (Sharon) Schrock, Sturgis, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by twin brother and sister Ora and Orene, one niece, Karla Wickey-Stauffer, and a brother-in-law, John Hooley.
Services were held Wednesday, April 4, at Locust Grove Mennonite Church in Burr Oak, Mich., with Pastor Bill Beck officiating.
Burial is in Locust Grove Cemetery, Burr Oak, Mich.
