Richard Paul Foltz, 84, Orland, died Friday, December 6, 2013 at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital in Angola, Ind.
He was born January 23, 1929, in Paulding, Ohio, to Alvin and Murlie (Corwin) Foltz.
He owned and operated Foltz Construction for over 45 years. He co-owned Allis Chalmers Implements with his brother Carl and drove school bus for Prairie Heights Community Schools for several years. He attended the First Congregational Church of Orland.
He was married May 24, 1991 to Sandra L. Foltz. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Richard B. Foltz, Orland; one daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Charlie Rausch, Orland; four stepchildren, Kathy and Perry Allen, Pleasant Lake, Ind., Chris and Lori Kurtz, Orland, Karen and Joe Kugler, South Milford, Ind., and Scott and Teri Kurtz, Orland; three grandchildren, Michelle Nelson, Stacy and Cody Haviland, and Shawn and Emily Rausch; four great-grandchildren, Kendall, Ellie, Jacob and Molly; 10 stepgrandchildren; and 11 stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Freda Foltz, in 2006, two brothers, Carl Foltz and Earl Foltz, and two sisters, Mildred Ellerbush and Helen Smith.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 10, at Weicht Funeral Home in Angola, Ind.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 11, at Weicht Funeral Home in Angola, Ind., with Pastor Mark Emelander officiating.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland.
