Richard D. Clark, 83, died Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Coventry Meadows in Ft. Wayne, Ind.
Born in Fort Wayne, Ind., he was a manager with Seat Cover Charlie in South Bend and Fort Wayne, Ind., and was the owner of Clark's Trim and Upholstery. He also worked at Hall Aluminum Products, Halls Family Restaurants, and was a driver for Town Airfreight. He was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Army, and a member of American Legion Post 499.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Shirley C. Clark; one daughter, Elizabeth (Ronald) Whitehead, Dallas, Ga.; three sons, Gregory A. (Julie) Clark, Ft. Wayne, Ind., David R. (Theresa) Clark, LaGrange, and Michael J. Clark, Ft. Wayne, Ind.; grandchildren Karen Clark, Krista Lyth, Joshua Allen, Daniel Rodriguez and Steven and Audrey Clark; great-grandchildren Bryson Casey, Jacob Allen, and Seth Clark; and one brother, Donald W. Clark.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn B. and Bertha A. Clark.
Visitation is 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 16, and 9-10 a.m. Friday, May 17, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 17, at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Whitehead officiating. Burial will be in Lindenwood Cemetery, Ft. Wayne, Ind.
