Sue Glick's leadership on behalf of Senate District 13 and Northeast Indiana is being recognized once again with the announcement by the Professional Firefighters Union of Indiana (PFFUI) that they are endorsing her in the May 8 Primary.
"Due to her dedication and hard work on behalf of the men and women of the fire services, the Brothers and Sisters of the Professional Firefighters Union of Indiana are pleased to endorse Sue for reelection to Senate District 13," said PFFUI President Tom Hanify. "The PFFUI would like to thank her for her efforts. Her support has been vital to our member's health and safety. Her commitment in the Indiana General Assembly to improving training standards and protecting public pensions for firefighters and their families makes us proud to call Sue our friend."
Sue was also recognized by the Indiana Volunteer Firefighters Association, who named her their 2011 Legislator of the Year.
"Thousands of very dedicated, very brave public servants put their health and lives on the line each and every day to protect us and our families," Glick stated. "They deserve the very same dedication from us at the Statehouse. Working with my colleagues to ensure our first responders have the training and support they need to keep Hoosiers safe will always be a priority."
Senator Glick has also been endorsed by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, Indiana Right to Life, and the National Rifle Association.
