Probation check leads to meth lab discovery

Deputies from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Dept. were called August 7 to assist the Noble County Probation Department in making contact with Kenneth M. Jordan, 48, of Wolcottville.

Officers made contact with Jordan at a residence on CR 800S east of Wolcottville and conducted a search of the home, where they reportedly discovered an active meth lab.

The Indiana State Police Lab Team was contacted. During the lab team search, items associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine were reportedly found, with field tests positive for meth. Paraphernalia items and precursors were also reported to be inside the residence.

Jordan was booked into the LaGrange County Jail on preliminary charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of Precursors, and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.
