On Oct. 9, officers from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department received a tip about a possible meth lab at a residence on CR 430S, Pretty Lake.
According to the police report, officers arrived at the residence and smelled an odor commonly associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine. Officers secured the residence and obtained a search warrant. Numerous items associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamines were found inside the residence.
Evidence was also located on the toilet seat inside the residence, where a suspect tried to flush an active one-pot meth lab.
The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team was contacted to process the meth lab.
Brian Clark, 51, was arrested on initial charges of maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of precursors.
