Prairie Heights dropped a pair of varsity softball decisions Saturday at Woodlan, lowering its season record to 1-4.
Woodlan hurler Kendra Graber fired a no-hitter in powering the Lady Warriors past the Lady Panthers, 10-0. Graber struckout eight and walked one.
Emily German, who was the lone Heights base runner in the game, took the pitching loss. German gave up nine hits, walked three and whiffed one.
In the second game, Heritage tallied seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to seal a 9-1 triumph over Prairie Heights.
Tailor Vanwagner’s single in the top of the third inning drove in Maddie Blum for the Lady Panther run. Rene Lewis was the only other Heights batter to register a safety.
German, Alex Messer and Danielle Engel each took turns in the pitcher’s circle for Heights.
