Prairie Heights recognizes ICE students

 

Prairie Heights School recognized the 23 Inter-Cooperative Educations in a special ceremony Mon., May 13. The steak meal, catered by Chubby’s of Orland, and program were held at the high school.

Students honored, along with their employers, are:

Dustin Bontrager, Hilltop Dairy; Andrew Brown, Gunthorp Farms; Terry Christoffel, Swick Broadcasting; Jordan Engel-Walworth, YMCA of Steuben County; Samantha Fish, Menards; Autumn Fugate, Commercial Pallet Recycling; Kendel Healey, LaGrange Publishing Co.; Matthew Howe, Hayden Honda; Dakota Johnson, Hal-Mark Rental; Jake Mersing, Angola Collission, and Derrick Mills, Talmage Farms.

Also, Matt Neely, Mastercraft, Inc.; Kris O’Connor, Dudley Lumber; Jackie Owens, Farmers State Bank; Payten Pollock, Miller’s Amish Poultry; Casey Rowe, YMCA of Steuben County; Paige Shipe, Chubby’s; Kirsten Tracey, Brown & Son’s Fuel; Michael Ware, LaGrange Circuit Court; Nate Williams, Lutheran Life Villages; Landon Wohlers, Prairie Heights Athletic Department, Katelyn Wright, Midwest Eye Consultants; and Austin Young, Printing Place.

Employers present were presented a plaque by their student and all students were presented their student portfolios by I.C.E. Coordinator Pat Kellett.

The adult advisory board for the program are Renea Boot, Bill McClanahan, Mike Gordon, Billie Fry and Marty Ferguson.
