Prairie Heights participating in summer food program

 

Prairie Heights Community Schools announced this week that it plans to participate in the Summer Food Service Program again this summer. Free meals will be made available to all children age 18 and under and to persons over 18 who are enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled.

Free meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

Meals will be available from 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the Mongo Town Park on June 11, 13, 14, 18, 20, and 21. Meals will continue weekdays June 25 through July 27. No meals will be served on July 4. The park is located at 780E 300N in Mongo.

Meals will be served from 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the Stroh Church of God, 4330S 1175E, June 25 through July 27, with no meals on July 4.

The program will also be at Prairie Heights Middle School June 25 through July 27, with no July 4 meals. The middle school location will offer breakfast from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
