Polly Miller, 100, Vermontville, Mich., formerly of Middlebury, died Friday, January 13, 2012 at her residence.
She was born November 9, 1911, in Elkhart County, to Jacob R. and Katie (Miller) Miller.
She was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She was married December 7, 1933, in Middlebury, to Cornelius A. “Neal” Miller. He preceded her in death on May 2, 2004.
Surviving are one daughter, Nettie (Gerald) Hochstetler, Vermontville, Mich.; three sons, Rudy (Lucille) Miller, Middlebury, Ray (Mabel) Miller, Goshen, and Mervin (Mary Catherine) Miller, Shipshewana; 26 grandchildren; 111 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ida Bontrager, Goshen.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Fannie Miller and Anna Schrock, eight brothers, Levi, Daniel, David, Christ, Samuel, Ora, Lloyd and Rudy Miller, and a daughter-in-law, Ruby Miller.
Visitation is all day Monday, January 16, at the Daniel Jay Miller residence, 60223 CR 37 in Middlebury.
Services will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, at the Daniel Jay Miller residence, 60223 CR 37 in Middlebury, with Bishop Alvin Hershberger, Bishop Allen Miller and Bishop Ernest Schrock officiating.
Burial will be in Thomas Cemetery, Goshen.
