Polly N. Eash, 82, Shipshewana, died Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Miller’s Merry Manor of LaGrange.
She was born January 11, 1931, in LaGrange, to Nathaniel A. and Elizabeth (Whetstone) Miller.
She was a homemaker and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
She was married March 12, 1953, in LaGrange, to Eli J. Eash. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2000.
Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Ora J. and Irene Eash, Trego, Mont., David L. Eash, Shipshewana, and Daniel and Esther Eash, Shipshewana; two daughters and sons-in-law, Esther and Ervin Schrock, LaGrange, and Ida and Paul Yoder, Sarasota, Fla.; 33 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Ervin and Mary Miller, Newago, Mich., Ora and Orpha Miller, Libby, Mont., Henry and Edna Miller, LaGrange, Melvin and Fannie Miller, Holton, Mich., and Ezra and Mary Miller, Holton, Mich.; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Ida Miller, Holton, Mich., Ada Miller, Holton, Mich., and Edna and Reuben Graber, Seymour, Mo.; and a sister-in-law, Clara Miller, Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mattie Miller, two brothers, Amos and Samuel Miller, and a sister-in-law, LeAnna Miller.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 6, at her son’s residence, 3990N 675W in Shipshewana, with Bishop Marvin Bontrager and home ministers officiating.
Burial is in Miller Cemetery, LaGrange.
