Picnic table donated to Town of Wolcottville

Tri-State Hardwoods of South Milford recently donated a white pine picnic table to the town of Wolcottville.

The unique table was made by John Heiney and Sons Pallet from Huntington, Ind. The table will be stored until early spring then placed in Wolcott Park for all to enjoy.

Lumber for two more picnic tables was donated by Kuntry Lumber Company and Wible’s U-Pick Hardwoods. This lumber will be made into tables by a Wolcottville resident this winter and be placed in Wolcott Park in the spring.

The Wolcottville Community Improvement Association has hopes of building a pavilion in Wolcott Park and fundraising efforts are under way. For more information on how to help, contact Sara Evers at 260-367-1822.
