PHS Students Of The Month

PrairieHeights Middle Schoolcelebrated the seventh student of the month convocation of the year. Students of the month are chosen by their teachers based on effort, citizenship, and academic progress. These eight students were honored in a school-wide convocation which parents of the honorees were also invited to attend. Another 20 students, five from each grade level, were recognized for individual situations where they gave their personal best. All students who receive personal best slips are entered in a drawing at the end of the year for a $50 gift card donated by Wal-Mart. To date, Prairie Heights Middle School has honored a total of 412 students for their positive contributions. Students of the month are (left to right): Alex Steele, 8th grade; Taya Garman, 5th grade; Emily Rhinehart, 8th grade; Justin Fritz, 6th grade; Chase Kiles, 7th grade; Elizabeth Wooster, 6th grade; Christie Scott, 7th grade; and Landry Gerbers, 5th grade.
