The Phil returns to LaGrange County

The Fort Wayne Philharmonic’s Holiday Pops concerts, which claim a warm spot in the hearts of hundreds of LaGrange County families, returns this year to ring in the holidays at Westview Jr.-Sr. High School. The school is located at 1635S 600W in Topeka.

This evening of music is a perfect way to get in the festive spirit for families, young and old alike, as well as experience the full sound of a 64-piece professional orchestra. Tickets to Holiday Pops in Topeka are on sale now.

Presented by Cultural Arts Council of LaGrange, Holiday Pops 2012 will begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Westview High School. Doors will open to the public for general admission seating at 6:15 p.m.

With Philharmonic Assistant Conductor Sameer Patel at the podium, this year’s Holiday Pops will include selections from “The Nutcracker,” “Carol of the Bells,” the annual Christmas sing-along, and, of course, “Sleigh Ride.” Holiday Pops will also feature talented vocalists Fernando Tarango and Shannon Cajka singing other holiday favorites.
