Perry J. Raber, 73, LaGrange, died Monday, March 10, 2014 at his residence.
He was born January 3, 1941, in, LaGrange County, to Jacob and Mattie (Petersheim) Raber.
He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He was married January 7, 1965, in LaGrange, to Lizzie Ann Miller. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Vera (Elva) Bontrager, LaGrange; one son, Truman (Amanda) Raber, Fredericksburg, Ohio; seven grandchildren; seven sisters, his twin Clara (Melvin) Kuhns, Portage, Wisc., Lydia Kuhns, Nappanee, Katie (Levi) Hochstetler, LaGrange, Esther (Edward) Schmucker, Montello, Wisc., Wilma Schrock, Topeka, Mattie (Levi) Miller, Middlebury, and Anna (David) Bontrager, LaGrange; one brother, Eli (Polly) Raber, Topeka; and a brother-in-law, LeRoy (Irene) Mullett, Stella, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Eli Raber, one grandchild, one sister, Lizzie Ann Mullett, and two brothers-in-law, Perry Schrock and Omar Kuhns.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 13, at the Mervin Whetstone residence, 3970S 00EW in LaGrange, with Senior Bishop Ervin Lehman and home ministers officiating.
Burial is in Oak Hill Cemetery, LaGrange.
