Paul A. Wagaman,77, Sturgis, Mich., died Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Ind.
He was born February 21, 1937, in Colon, Mich., to Oscar and Stella (Nicholas) Wagaman.
Moving from Mendon, Mich., to Sturgis, Mich., in 1967, his early life was lived in Colon, Mich., where he attended Colon Community Schools. He was a lifelong farmer and spent many hours at the “Liars Table” in the Westside Restaurant in Sturgis, Mich.
Surviving are five sons, Jeffrey P. Wagaman, White Pigeon, Mich., Brad (Laurie) Wagaman, Manahawkin, N.J., Terry (Betsy) Wagaman, Dearborn Heights, Mich., Randy (Tracy) Wagaman, Commerce Township, Mich., and Kevin Wagaman, White Pigeon, Mich.; 12 grandchildren, Justis, Jeff Jr., Jennele, Dwight, Mallory, Aubrie, Tyler, Colin, Daniel, Andrew, Abigail, and Gabrielle; three brothers, Leonard Wagaman, Kalamazoo, Mich., Luther (Louise) Wagaman, Battle Creek, Mich., and Chuck (Marlene) Wagaman, Athens, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Suzanne (Wagaman) Stimmer.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 18, at Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes in Sturgis, Mich.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 19, at Rosenberg Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes in Sturgis, Mich., with Reverend Steve Bean officiating.
Burial will be in Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood, Mich.
