Patrick Robinson

Patrick Henry Robinson, 64, Shipshewana, died Sunday, November 12, 2017 at Goshen Health Hospital.

    He was born December 18, 1952, in Lewiston, Maine, to Harry and Mary (Begay) Robinson.

    Patrick was a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving as a machinegunner during the Vietnam War. He was an over-the-road truck driver for 45 years and a member of Middlebury American Legion Post 210 and the D.A.V.

    He was married March 31, 2006, in Elkhart, to Joyce Casey. She survives.

    Also surviving are two daughters, Jennifer (David) Baker, Middlebury, and Jessica (Jaime) Cowan, Shipshewana; three sons, James Fox, St. Petersburg, Fla., Darrin Robinson, Bristol, and Patrick (Candy) Robinson, Groves, Texas; eight grandchildren, Patrick Robinson, Ashlen Robinson, Jamica Baker, Anthony Baker, Ethan Baker, Cody Jones, Elisha Vazquez, and Joseph Cowan; five sisters, Jolene Toothacher, Livermore Falls, Maine, June Herbert, Jay, Maine, Raylene Henderson, Readfield, Maine, Michelle (Michael) Whitney, Industry, Maine, and Pamela Nolan, Hastings, Fla.; and one brother, John Robinson, Wolfeboro, N.H.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mary Greenman and Sandra Wilson, and three brothers, Thomas, Harry and Richard Robinson.

    Visitation is Noon-2 p.m. Saturday, November 18, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home in Middlebury.

    Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 18, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home in Middlebury with Pastor Steve Yater officiating.
