Free foot screenings...
Free foot screenings will be available Wednesday, July 25, by appointment at Parkview LaGrange Hospital on Townline Rd. in LaGrange.
As the least expensive mode of transportation, feet are often overlooked when it comes to a regular maintenance check. Even small things like ill-fitting shoes, bunions and flat feet can have a big impact on a person’s health.
Appointments are required. Screenings are held in the Specialty Clinic off the main lobby of Parkview LaGrange Hospital. For more information or to make an appointment, call (260) 463-9009.
Diabetes Support Group...
Join Terri Clark, RN, diabetes educator, for a game of “Diabetes Bingo” at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, in Conference Room A/B at Parkview LaGrange Hospital on Townline Road in LaGrange.
Win prizes and explore issues of diabetes control, care and self-maintenance during this fun and interactive session. Parkview LaGrange Hospital’s free Diabetes Support Group is open to anyone whose life is impacted by diabetes. Walk-ins are welcome.
Free prenatal classes...
Free prenatal classes will be held Tuesday, Aug. 7, and Tuesday, Aug. 21, from 6-9 p.m. in the board room at Parkview LaGrange Hospital on Townline Rd. in LaGrange.
Becoming a parent is a life-changing event. Prenatal education will help parents-to-be explore the physical, emotional and social aspects of birth. Each session will help define needs and desires by providing prenatal information, group activities to promote learning and a demonstration of skills useful during labor and birth. A tour of the Family Birthing Center is included.
Class size is limited to ensure personal attention for each participant. Registration is required. For more information and to register, call (260) 463-9300.
