Parkview LaGrange to offer flu and pneumonia vaccine clinic

Parkview Home Health and Hospice will host a seasonal flu and pneumonia vaccination clinic from 9-11 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 31, at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.

The initiative is made possible with support from Parkview Hospital’s Community Health Improvement program. The vaccinations will be available for people 18 years of age and older.

For seniors who are covered by Medicare Part B or a Medicare HMO and bring their cards with them to the clinic, there will be no out-of-pocket expense for either of the vaccines. If individuals have any other insurance or no insurance, the out-of-pocket expense will be $25 for seasonal flu shots and $35 for pneumonia shots. Payment will be expected at the time of service. Cash and personal checks will be accepted.
