Parkview holds grief seminars

 

Parkview Noble Home Health & Hospice and Parkview LaGrange Home Health & Hospice bereavement support groups present Understanding your grief, a 10-week program, that is designed to provide guidance for patients and caregivers of family members who are experiencing a multitude of feelings from serious illness of loss of a loved one.

Join Rev. Ken Weaver, LCSW, LMFT, chaplain, Parkview Home Health & Hospice, and Cathy Petrie, LCSW, bereavement counselor, Parkview Noble Home Health & Hospice, as they discuss the normal emotional responses to illness and death and how to cope.

Each session will include information and ideas by Alan Wolfelt, PhD, CT, internationally noted author, educator and grief counselor. Wolfelt id founder and director of the renowned Center for Loss & Life Transition, located in the mountain foothills of Fort Collins, Colorado.

Each Tuesday starting on January 22-March 26 from 4pm-5:30pm, at First Presbyterian Church located 200W Michigan Street LaGrange, IN 46761.

Each Thursday starting on January 24-March 28 from 4pm-5:30pm, at Kendallville Public Library located 221S Park Kendallville, IN 46755.
