Panther baseball team crushes Central Noble

Prairie Heights smashed 14 hits and pitchers Jacob Heller and Tanner Perkins combined to toss a four-hitter, as the Panthers rocked Central Noble, 15-1 in NECC baseball Tuesday.

David Shannon doubled twice, singled, collected four RBI and scored three times to pace Heights at the plate. Heller accounted for three of the Panther hits, including one that left the yard, scored three runs and drove in three. Tanner Terry went 3-3 with a triple and two RBI, and Jared Beechy ripped a pair of doubles and knocked in a run.

Heller started on the mound, striking out four Cougars in four innings. Perkins worked the last frame, whiffing one.

Garren Deck tripled and Zak Armstrong plated the lone run for Central Noble.

The win improved Prairie Heights to 5-1.
