Orla P. Miller, 71, Topeka, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at his residence.
He was born May 30, 1941, in LaGrange County, to Perry B. and Anna (Schrock) Miller.
He was a farmer and member of the Old Order Amish Church.
He was married October 14, 1965, in Topeka, to Vera Mullet. She survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Shirley (Noah) Miller, Shipshewana, and Nettie (Albert) Miller, Millersburg; nine sons, Sam (Linda) Miller, Topeka, Joe (Dorcas) Miller, Moreland, Ga., Merle (Nanette) Miller, Wawaka, Larry (Alice) Miller, Millersburg, Galen (Betty) Miller, Topeka, Marvin (Lisa) Miller, Hutchinson, Kan., Jake (Rose) Miller, Haven, Kan., Mel (Carol) Miller, Shipshewana, and Daryl (Regina) Miller, Goshen; 53 grandchildren; two great grandsons; three sisters, Edna Hershberger, LaGrange, Esther (William Henry) Yoder, Shipshewana, and Susie (Johnny) Helmuth, Millersburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Raymond Miller, one sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Don Tyson, and a brother-in-law, Mahlon Hershberger.
Visitation is all day Thursday, September 20, at the Galen Miller residence, 7525W 600S in Topeka.
Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, September 21, at the Sam Miller residence, 7635W 600S in Topeka, with Bishop Wayne Miller and home ministers officiating.
Burial will be in Hawpatch Cemetery, Topeka.
