The LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department recently received numerous tips regarding drug activity at a residence near Stroh. On August 31, officers from the department, along with officers from the Wolcottville and Topeka police departments, went to a residence on CR 310S to conduct a knock and talk.
Officers made contact with the property owner, Lyndi Barrick, who reportedly gave officers written consent to search the residence. During the search, officers located an Altoids container on a dresser in the bedroom that contained a green, leafy substance that officers believed to be marijuana, along with paraphernalia.
A male subject in the residence, Bryan Rowlison, allegedly told officers that the contents found were his. Rowlison, 26, of LaGrange, was arrested and taken to the LaGrange County Jail on preliminary charges of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Paraphernalia.
A charge of Maintaining a Common Nuisance was filed against Lyndi Barrick and forwarded to the LaGrange Count Prosecutor’s Office for review.
