Omer Dean Schlabach, 25, Shipshewana, died Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born March 25, 1989, in Goshen, Ind., to Mahlon A. and Treva M. (Yoder) Schlabach.
He was currently working at Shipshe Welding.
Survivors are his parents, Mahlon A. Treva M. Schlabach, Shipshewana; four brothers, Glen (Treva) Schlabach, Goshen, Ind., Dale (Karen) Schlabach, Shipshewana, John (Christina) Schlabach, Shipshewana, and James (Neva) Schlabach, Goshen, Ind.; nine sisters, LouEtta (Timothy) Schlabach, Goshen, Ind., Laura (Maynard) Lehman, LaGrange, Mary (Lester) Miller, Millersburg, Ind., Kathy (Daryl) Wingard, Middlebury, Lena (Delmar) Hostetler, Millersburg, Ind., and Rhonda Schlabach, Rhoda Schlabach, Susan Schlabach and Beth Ann Schlabach, all at home; and 27 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Amos and Mary Schlabach and Monroe and Clara Yoder, and two nephews.
Visitation is after 1 p.m. Thursday, June 19, and all day Friday, June 20, at family residence, 11965W 200S in Shipshewana.
Funeral service will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 21, at the family residence, 11965W 200S in Shipshewana, with Bishop Karl Dean Miller and home ministers officiating.
Burial will be in Bontrager Cemetery, Middlebury.
