Jonathon Wilkinson fired in 32 points in leading NorthWood to a 70-47 thumping of host Lakeland Tuesday night in varsity boys basketball.
Wilkinson, a 6-5 junior guard, hit five, three-point shots in the first half, helping stake the Panthers to a 46-22 lead at the intermission. Wilkinson finished with 12 field goals in all and sank each of his three foul shots in the tilt.
Teammates Zach Zurcher and Tommy Klem joined Wilkinson in double figures with 17 and 11 markers, respectively.
Topping Lakeland with 11 points was Spencer Mortola. Daemyn Priestley and Mitch Herber each chipped in eight tallies.
Tuesday’s decision improved NorthWood to 11-1 on the campaign, while dropping Lakeland to 3-10.
