Northridge steamed past Westview, 7-0 in varsity girls soccer play last Thursday night in Middlebury.
Christina Juroff gave the Lady Raiders a 1-0 lead midway through the first half. Brianne O’Dell assisted on the Juroff tally.
It looked as though the Lady Warriors would get out of the first half only down one, but unassisted goals by O’Dell and Brey Baltazar in the final minute increased the difference to 3-0 at the intermission.
Lauren Blyly netted a pair of goals in the opening five minutes of the second half to put the Lady Raiders ahead, 5-0. O’Dell and Brennah Tadeo would find the back of the net later in the second half to close the scoring. Those goals were assisted by Sydney Fuller.
Northridge held a 24-4 edge in shots on goal. Westview keeper Grace St. Clair made 16 saves.
The loss dropped the Lady Warriors to 6-2.
