Norman Giggy, 75, Howe, died Friday, March 2, 2012 at his residence.
He was born July 12, 1936, in LaGrange County, to Keith and Ruth (Dellinger) Giggy.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and a mechanic all of his life. He had also worked most recently at Multi-Plex in Howe until his retirement in 2001. He was an active member of the Howe United Methodist Church.
He was married March 15, 1964, in Howe, to Julia Lambright. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Brian and Christina Giggy, Kendallville, Bradd and Sonja Giggy, LaGrange, and Brent Giggy, Syracuse, Ind.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gary and Mary Giggy, Sturgis, Mich., Warren and Linda Giggy, Sturgis, Mich., and Norris and Jane Giggy, Kalamazoo, Mich.; three sisters, Pat Cortez, Denver, Colo., Phyllis and Larry Cooper, Middlebury, and Barbara and Norm Smith, Howe.
He was preceded in death by one son, Brice Giggy, and one brother, Bruce Giggy.
Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday March 5, at Carney-Frost Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, at Howe United Methodist Church with Reverend Jean Ness officiating.
Burial with military rites by LaGrange American Legion Post 215 will be in Greenwood Cemetery, LaGrange.
