Norma J. Long, 77, Butler, Ind., formerly of LaGrange, died Saturday, August 11, 2012 at The Laurels of Dekalb Nursing Home in Butler, Ind.
She was born May 25, 1935, in Wawaka, Ind., to Clifford and Vada (Gangwer) Vaughn.
She was a homemaker.
She was married August 31, 1952, in Auburn, Ind., to Jesse R. Long. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2000.
Surviving are three sons and one daughter-in-law, Stephen Long, Ft. Wayne, Rex and Dawn Long, Garrett, Ind., and Jesse Long, Garrett, Ind.; three daughters and one son-in-law, LuAnn and Stephen Middaugh, Auburn, Ind., Bonnie Long, Ft. Wayne, Ind., and Brenda Wilbur, Three Rivers, Mich.; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, David and Cathy Vaughn, Michigan; and three sisters and one brother-in-law, Wilma and Dean Wathen, Athens, Mich., Sharon Weirach, New Haven, Ind., and Marlene Kessler, Angola, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Elizabeth (Anna) Rodriguez, one son, Randy Long, and three brothers.
Visitation is 10 a.m.-noon Tuesday, August 14, at Carney-Frost Funeral Home in LaGrange.
Services will be noon Tuesday, August 14, at Carney-Frost Funeral Home in LaGrange with Pastor Carol Gebert officiating.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn, Ind.
