Nora May Adkins, 65, White Pigeon, Mich., died Saturday, May 3, 2014 at her residence.
She was born on May 2, 1949, in West Virginia, to Nolice and Erma (Bradshaw) Adkins.
She was a homemaker and hair stylist.
Surviving are two daughters, Terri (Jeff) Steiner, Jones, Mich., and Rebecca (Tim) Chandler, Schoolcraft, Mich.; one son, John (Amanda) Davis, Los Angeles, Calif.; four grandchildren, Kody Chandler, Jeffery Steiner, Joseph Steiner and Ty Chandler; four stepgrandchildren, Sarah, Jamie, Lee and Billie; six sisters, her twin Nancy Faye Adkins, Wayne, W.V., Brenda Adkins, Shipshewana, Bernice Wagner, Culloden, W.V., Edna Adkins, Texas, Erma Lynn (Mike) Conklin, Shipshewana, and Connie Lambert, Ohio; and four special nieces, Cindy, Lori, Kim and Betina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a stepson, Billy Joe Davis II, one brother, Herman Adkins, and a special niece, Denise.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home in Middlebury.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, May 8, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home in Middlebury.
Burial will be in Scott Cemetery, Shipshewana.
