New Year brings change to FSB Board of Directors


Jim Perkins is retiring after serving for 28 years on the Farmers State Bank and FS Bancorp Boards of Directors. According to bank representatives, Perkins has been a tremendous asset to the bank and through the dedication of his time and energy has contributed immeasurably to the progress and success of the bank.

Kevin Lambright has been elected to fill the vacant board seat. He comes to the bank with a wealth of business knowledge as a farmer and co-owner of the Shipshewana Auction and Flea Market, Farmstead Inn and Conference Center and Trading Place Antiques. He is a lifelong resident of LaGrange County and resides in Shipshewana with his wife Carrie. He is very active in the community and serves on the Parkview LaGrange Hospital Board, LaGrange County Tax Commission, LaGrange and Elkhart Red Cross, JA of LaGrange County and the Shipshewana Retail Merchants Association.
